Spider Lake Cottages are conventiently located close to many hiking trails. Throughout the Traverse City region, there are many hiking trails from beginner to advanced. Always go prepared for your hike, especially when heading out to Sleeping Bear dunes which at certain times of the year is equivalent to crossing a short span of the Sahara desert.
